Cybersecurity Trade Mission to Paris

View of Paris
Selected companies explore the cybersecurity ecosystem in January 2022.

The purpose of the mission is for Cybersecurity companies to gain a better understanding of the French market and an opportunity to engage with local companies. The Covid-19 pandemic has proved that the French Tech startup scene is robust. In 2020, French startups raised a record €5.4bn, 7% more than in 2019, making France the only country among Europe’s three largest markets that managed to grow in 2020. The current government under Macron has also unveiled a stimulus package of €100bn, which included a €7bn commitment to digital, with AI, Cybersecurity, and quantum computing as central priorities. We encourage Cybersecurity companies with an interest in expanding to France or selling into French companies to apply.

Format: Led by David Butcher, Trade Manager (Financial, Business Services and Technology), this mission will be composed of face-to-face meetings, roundtables, networking events, and site visits. The full agenda will be shared with attendees prior to the mission.

Eligibility criteria: To join this trade mission, your company must fit the sector focus and be a member of the Mayor’s International Business Programme. When registering your interest, you will be asked a set of follow-up questions to ensure these criteria are met.
